I wrote this about three years ago and started this story line about two years. Since I’ve taken a break on Scotty, the issue about Police violence has come to a head. I’ve heard too many stories from friends about police profile them and hope we can end this soon. However, I never wanted to make this comic a platform on problems going on in our times.
I’ve been lucky and gotten to travel to France and Japan. When I was in France, every cop we saw was in full armor and carrying a semi automatic. As a fourteen old kid, that was frightening. You did not want to mess with them, I heard later there was a terrorist threat while we were there. What I do know is, you do no want to get into trouble with the law in other countries. The justice system is extremely different and not all the same rights are pass over to each country. My goal with this part of the story was to have the Odysseys get into trouble with law. I do hope these issue I’ve talked about early get fix and I think we do need to discuss them. I just don’t think this to place to do it. Thank again ya’ll.
P.S. Now that all said. I am a big Hip Hop fan. So had to through in some Hip Hop Lines in these titles. Thanks
