Hey guys,
Hows it going? Me? Oh just busy. So the updates been a bit rocky but I am here to tell ya all what’s going on. Comics is what I want to do for a career. The idea of getting up and drawing Scotty and other stories is what I day dream. The only problem with this is… not paying for things like heat, the roof, food, water and the lights. So I’ve been doing some PA work part time to get some money.
What is PA work? Production Assistant, meaning I help out with films where they need an extra pair of hands. Picking up trash, making sure no one goes into camera or makes noise, tasks like that. It’s not an easy or what you think of when working in film. However, I am grateful to be making some real money to afford things. The only big draw back to it, film on a normal day (A NORMAL day.) is twelve hour day. So at the end of the day, I most likely too tired to pick up a pencil. The good news though, I am trying to be able to only do this for part time. So hopefully I can balance work and Pa job. It’s hard to be away from the table all the time too, I got some great ideas I want to see for this comic soon!
The other thing that’s been taking my time is, I am moving. Where you ask? Far far away. So far it’s off the map. Nah, moving down the street with one of my best friends. He is the one that edits all my stuff and I bounce ideas off of. Parker Anderson, he’s a great guy and can’t wait to get our place. Only problem being that I have to pack and clean. Which I also found out, I got too much crap (14 boxes of books :P). So these next few weeks will be rough waters for Scotty.
Now what about some good news?! Well I’m going to be go back to Hero con and have some new things for you to buy. More news on that later. Time for some warmachine! Take it easy and have a good one, thanks again. Also, if you read Franky, the same Parker.
