When writing Scotty, there are set and pay off pages. In the past I felt like I didn’t have strong set up. Set up is more important then the pay off, a pay off with no set up just falls flat.
This page is a set up but what’s fun about this page, it doesn’t feel like a set up. It just has a nice flow to the story telling. I also love that third panel. I had to change that thing about four or five times but worth it.
The way I work is writing is the rough draft, pencil is the first, ink is the second and colors is the finished. There are times I’ve gotten to the color and had to change something in the pencil, rare but it happens. Writing takes the less amount of time and is the first to get changed.
